Michael Andrew Martin O'Neill (born 5 July 1969) is a Northern Irish football manager and former professional footballer. He became Northern Ireland manager in 2011. Northern Ireland qualified for their first ever Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) European Championship, Euro 2016 in France after beating Greece 3–1 at Windsor Park on 8 October 2015. It was the first time in 30 years that Northern Ireland had qualified for a major tournament. At the tournament itself he led the side to the second round, losing narrowly to Wales. O'Neill resigned as Northern Ireland manager on 22 April 2020.

Martin Hugh Michael O'Neill (born 1 March 1952) is a Northern Irish professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He became Republic of Ireland manager in 2013 and led them to qualification for the 2016 UEFA European Championship for the third time in the nation's history, beating the reigning world champions, Germany in the process. He left the role with assistant Roy Keane by "mutual agreement" in November 2018.
