Perhaps jhndwrdlws should have explained what a convection current is and where else it occurs. But as it stands the question and answer are perfectly ok. Look at the question again. It says. "Convection currents are present in....". Of the 4 choices given as answers only the earth's mantle was correct. There are no convection currents in earth's or moon's crust or earth's core. In the earth's systems, convection currents occur within the geosphere (plate tetonics in the mantle), the atmosphere (wind), and the hydrosphere (ocean currents).

Odd convection currents occur at all levels , the core the mantle, so the answers are all correct. Perhaps this is another question that wasn't checked prior to publishing!

Totally false answer as the question is written. Convection currents occur naturally in all places, even in the swimming poo in your back yard. The question made no mention of a specific type of convection current.
