Poe was born on the 19th of January, 1809 in Boston. He was the second child in the family of actors. However, he orphaned at the age of 2.

I love most of his short stories. My favorites were The Tell Tale Heart,The Pit in the Pendulem,The Fall of the House of Usher. These were all also made into Movies starring Vincent Price.
