Hector Elizondo is an American character actor who had roles in "American Gigolo", a 1980 American neo-noir crime drama, written and directed by Paul Schrader, starring Richard Gere and Lauren Hutton; "Pretty Woman, a 1990 romantic comedy film that was directed by Garry Marshall, starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts; and "The Princess Diaries", a 2001 American coming-of-age comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Garry Marshall. The 1990 film "Internal Affairs" is a crime thriller, and it does not feature Elizondo in any role.

Elizondo roles were respectively a cop named Detective Joe Sunday; Barnard Thompson, a dignified but soft-hearted hotel manager; and Joe, Clarisse's (Queen of Genovia) Head of Security and Mia's (the Princess) limousine driver.
