The film Jurassic Park, released in 1993 and directed by Stephen Spielberg, was the first in the series of 5 films (with a 6th due to be released in 2021 - Jurassic World: Dominion) all based around the concept of resurrecting dinosaurs from extinction using fossilised DNA strands. The film is set in the dinosaur theme park created by John Hammond (the late Richard Attenborough), who clearly had more money than sense! The dinosaur stars of the show are the velociraptors and T-Rex, but in reality there is only 15 minutes of dinosaur footage: 6 minutes of CGI and 9 minutes of animatronics.
