How many red and white stripes are on the United States flag?
National flag of the USA consists of white stars (50 since July 4, 1960) on a blue canton with a field of 13 alternating stripes, 7 red and 6 white. The 50 stars stand for the 50 states of the union, and the 13 stripes stand for the original 13 states. Officially the red stripes signify valor and bravery, while the white stripes symbolize purity and innocence.

Laurie Johnson Gonzalez, Actually, taking into consideration how screwed up American schools are, you should get extra credit for getting it right while NOT being American. American schools with common core haven't been teaching much actual history for years now.

I was not born in this beautiful country, I become a citizen back in 1994, and love this country as I was born in it, I love this flag so much and anyone living in this country should as well, this flag symbolizes so much, it makes mad and sad how much has happened to this country since I came and to the flag, if you like it here just leave!

Jaclyn Rae Glicken, The ACA was a total joke!!! My husband and I paid $700 a month for great insurance until Obama care hit . Our premium doubled to $1400 a month we lost all our Drs and our deductible tripled!! I know more people that lost their insurance because they can no longer afford it while other flea bags were bragging they got it for free
