How many US service personnel have been a General of The Air Force?

General of the Air Force is a five-star general officer rank and is the highest possible rank in the United States Air Force. General of the Air Force ranks immediately above a general and is equivalent to General of the Army in the United States Army and Fleet Admiral in the United States Navy. The only person to hold the rank of General of the Air Force has been Henry H. Arnold.

Yep the Air Force are particular who they appoint.. I was a Wave in the navy during Vietnam but later I was in the Air National guard and Air Force Reserves But In My humble Opinion all branches of our armed forces are great---but the Air Force had the best food, the best looking guys and the best quarters.

This answer is incorrect! There have been five 5 star generals of the Air Force; Bradley, McArthur, Eisenhower, Marshall and Arnold! I abhor these answers that are completely incorrect and yet pass through the screening process where we get them wrong, when we were actually right! I should get credit for answering 5, as THAT is the correct answer!
