In 1944-45 the Germans fired thousands of V-1 cruise missiles at London — and at which other European city?

Approximately 10,000 V-1s were fired at England, the majority aimed at London; this continued until October 1944, when the last V-1 site in range of Britain was overrun by Allied forces. After this, more than 2,000 V-1s were directed at Belgium, principally against Antwerp as part of an attempt to destroy the port. The attacks stopped when the last launch site was overrun on 29 March 1945.

My Mum, along with other children of actors & actresses in London and many other children, were evacuated from London to the Bronx, NY during this time. She had been living in a bomb shelter. I still have those photographs. Quite scary for a 15 year old & her 7 year old brother.

They were V-2 , ballistic missiles not cruise missiles. They fired on German cities only after the allies caltured them.

Good Question!!!! I guessed, wrongly, Amsterdam, but I knew the Germans were trying to achieve domination in Northern and Northwestern Europe, so I guessed Brussels. Not too familiar with Antwerp...

How did this pass review stage? Did the author of the question notice that the explanation said "V-1's were directed at Belgium, principally against Antwerp......" Brussels was also targeted.
