In the 1983 British mini-series "Reilly, Ace of Spies" the actor who played Sidney Reilly is Sam Neill (September 1947). Born in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, his given name is Nigel John Dermot Neill. Besides acting, he is a writer, producer, and director.

In "Reilly, Ace of Spies" Sam Neill dramatized the life of Sidney Reilly. Neill was able to show how Reilly became one of the greatest spies ever to work for the British government.
