Loved this movie!!! My father gentled horses. However, back when he did it, they called it "breaking" a horse. Not such a politically correct term-I remember watching him and I realize what he was doing could be viewed by some as cruel. He had a communication with horses, and actually with all animals, that amazes me even today. This was the last movie we watched together before he died. I was more interested in watching him while it was playing and things he remarked on. He was very impressed with Robert Redford's portrayal of the whisperer.
