In which state within the United States is Walla Walla Valley almost entirely located?

Walla Walla Valley is mostly located in the southeastern part of the state of Washington near the Oregon state border. A small part of the valley extends partly into the northeastern corner of Oregon. The growing region is wholly contained within Columbia Valley and is named using a Native American term for many waters. During the past several decades, this valley has boomed and has the highest concentration of wineries in Washington state. Walla Walla hosts about 140 wineries.

Walla Walla Valley, which is also a major wheat, strawberry, and sweet onion producer, is a climatically diverse growing region. The area is cooler and wetter than a number of other growing regions located on the West coast of the United States. A large number of wines which are specifically made in Walla Walla Valley have now (2021) achieved worldwide recognition.
