James Bond who is inadvertently shot, falls into a river, and is presumed dead in which film?
The 2012 spy film "Skyfall", the twenty-third in the "James Bond" series, was produced by Eon Productions. It is the third film to star Daniel Craig as fictional MI6 agent James Bond. While featuring Craig, it has Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the villain, with Judi Dench returning as M. This is a film that has been directed by Sam Mendes and written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and John Logan.
The film has Bond (Craig) investigating a series of targeted data leaks and co-ordinated attacks on MI6 led by Silva. It sees the return of two recurring characters, Miss Moneypenny (played by Naomie Harris) and Q (played by Ben Whishaw), after an absence of two films. Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, and Albert Finney are among the supporting cast.
As a part of the storyline, there is a scene where Bond is inadvertently shoot and falls into a river, presumed dead. He fell victim to actions taken by Miss Eve Moneypenny. The results happened after she acted and caused Bond to be attacked, injured, and presumed killed. Explicitly, Eve (MI6 field agent) was on a mission with Bond in Istanbul, Turkey. She spots Bond while he is struggling with mercenary Patrice under Silva's command atop a train.
M demands that Patrice be eliminated. But due to the train's movement, Eve lacks confident that she can get a good shot at Patrice. M, frustrated with such a response, bluntly orders Eve to "take the bloody shot". Eve does so, and ends up shooting Bond, resulting in his apparent death.
