Kurt Russell used only 104 words in which of these film performances by him?
The American science fiction film "Soldier", directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, tells the story of a highly skilled, emotionally distant soldier (Kurt Russell) who left for dead, befriends a group of refugees, then faces his former superiors who are determined to eliminate the refugees and others.
The film was released worldwide in October 1998 and received generally negative reviews, although many praised the action sequences and Russell's performance as Sgt. Todd 3465. Russell spoke only 104 words in the movie despite being in about 85% of the scenes. In addition to Russell, this film features Jason Scott Lee, Jason Isaacs, Connie Nielsen, Sean Pertwee, and Gary Busey. The film's storyline was written by David Webb Peoples.
Kurt Russell (b. March 1951) began acting at the age of 12 in westerns. In the late 1960s, he signed a ten-year contract with The Walt Disney Company, starring in several films. Russell then pursued a baseball career. In the early 1970s, he was a switch-hitting second baseman for two California Angels minor league affiliate teams, then moved up to Class AA (the second-highest level of play in Minor League Baseball) in 1973 with the El Paso Texas Sun Kings. A shoulder injury ended his sports career and he returned to acting, finding continuing success.
