LaCroix or La Croix is an American brand of sparkling water. It originated in the USA in La Crosse, Wisconsin, by G. Heileman Brewing Company. It is now distributed by National Beverage Corporation. This brand is one that includes various fruits and fruit blend flavors.

In the early 1980s, the G. Heileman Brewing Company, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, introduced the La Croix brand as one of the first "Anti-Perrier" brands. It was meant to appeal to sparkling water consumers who were put off by Perrier's "snobbish attitude towards certain consumer groups". La Croix decided to market to a niche of users by imaging itself as an "all occasion" beverage.

In the early 2010s, La Croix (National Beverage Corporation) saw an opportunity to expand their consumer base. It subsequently launched a marketing campaign about its beverage on social media, specifically targeting millennials. Sales “exploded” as the brand developed a national “cult following” within the USA. The brand has now grown and is reaching countries outside of the US. The marketing efforts by La Croix in the 21st century have helped position the product with mainstream news outlets as a healthier alternative to sugary soda, as well as a mixer for popular cocktails (alcoholic mixed drinks).
