Billy Joel was born William Martin Joel in 1949 in the Bronx, New York, USA. He is an American pianist, singer-songwriter, and composer. Since releasing his first hit song, "Piano Man," in 1973, Joel has become a multi-million-selling recording artist. "Tell Her About It" (1983), and "We Didn't Start the Fire" (1989), were Billboard Hot 100 number one hits. "Uptown Girl" (1983) became his only UK number one hit but he achieved numerous top ten UK hits.

Eleanora Fagan (1915 –1959), is better known as Billie Holiday. She was an American jazz singer with a career spanning nearly 30 years. She was nicknamed "Lady Day" by music partner Lester Young. "Lady Sings the Blues" is a film about her life which starred Diana Ross. In 2017 Holiday was inducted into the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame.

Billy Ocean was born Leslie Sebastian Charles in 1950. He is a Trinidadian-English recording artist who had a string of R&B international pop hits in the 1970s and 1980s. "When the Going Gets Tough (1985), "Caribbean Queen" (1985), "Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car", and "There'll Be Sad Songs" are his most memorable.

William Michael Albert Broad was born in 1955. He is known professionally as Billy Idol and is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He first achieved fame in the 1970s emerging from the London punk rock scene as a member of Generation X. The song "White Wedding" (1982) is often considered one of his most recognizable songs.
