Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT) is a fictional computer-driven black Pontiac Firebird Trans Am T-top automobile. It featured in the American action series 'Knight Rider' between 1982 and 1986, which starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight.

Michael Arthur Long is an undercover detective of the Los Angeles Police Department, who is almost killed after being shot in the face. Wilton Knight, who created KITT, instructs the doctors to save Long's life, reconstructing his face in the process. After recovering from the surgery, Michael renames himself 'Michael Knight' and is provided with high tech crime-fighting equipment, including KITT. Although Hasselhoff's character needed to be filmed driving the car, KITT was usually towed by a hidden vehicle to create the illusion that it was Hasselhoff driving.

During filming, a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was built to exact specifications to be used as KITT. The project cost around US$100,000 and featured an intricate dashboard and a voice box, which was recorded by William Daniels. Usually, Universal Studios were given damaged Pontiac cars for as little as $1, which they modified themselves for filming. KITT is the only car Universal asked Pontiac to build.

Spare versions of KITT were created for use during filming. One of them was sold in 2017 for US$149,995. Replica versions of the car have been used for other productions, including Hasselhoff's music video for the song 'Jump in My Car'.
