In which seat of learning were some scenes from "Chariots of Fire" filmed?
Chariots of Fire is a 1981 British historical drama film. It tells the fact-based story of two athletes in the 1924 Olympics: Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God, and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew who runs to overcome prejudice. Much of the plot focuses on Abrahams' experience at the University of Cambridge. However, all of the Cambridge scenes were actually filmed at the director's alma mater Eton College, because Cambridge refused filming rights, fearing depictions of anti-Semitism. The Cambridge administration greatly regretted the decision after the film's enormous success.

I find it hard to believe that I chose the right answer, according to the history of the filming of "Chariots of Fire." But I was told that I answered incorrectly, about the actuality of the film's setting. Go Figure!

Some scenes of Chariots of Fire were filmed in Cambridge, so this answer is wrong. The question should have been more specific ie about the Trinity quad race being shot at Eton.
