First Lady Nancy Reagan's most admirable quality was her compassion. But her greatest legacy, in my opinion, is her fervent advocacy on behalf of stem cell research on behalf of degenerative disease and on behalf of Alzheimer's disease. The Reagan Foundation is the world's largest financial philanthropy to find a cure for Alzheimer's because of her efforts. Mrs. Reagan reached across the aisle to Christopher Reeve on spinal chord injuries, Michael J. Fox on Parkinson's disease and President Obama on Alzheimer's disease as those disorders relate to stem cell research and the search for cures for degenerative diseases that plague humankind and did so despite differing political perspectives. But on his very first day in office, President Obama couldn't resist ridiculing Nancy Reagan instead of realizing that she was his most important ally on the issue of stem cell research. Nancy Reagan was among the nation's most influential first ladies because she put the nation before political party.

If I wanted politics, I would go to twitter or FB. I like quizz club for what it is. A simple trivia game. Just because it mentions political people doesn’t mean we have to go off on a political tangent. No self control?

Refresh your memory on Google about William Jefferson Clinton's two-year affair.with a woman the age of his daughter and his perjury in the Paula Jones case. Had he settled the Paula Jones case, the American public would have been spared the Clinton-Lewinsky debacle, which would never have come to light, according to HRC herself. Four cases of AIDS were discovered at UCLA in 1976, but nothing was done about it during the Ford and Carter era, but Liberals prefer to label Reagan as the one responsible for the spead of AIDS. The disease spanned multiple Administrations and the failure to act decisively cost too many lives, there's no question about that. But remember that Democrats controlled Congress from 1954 to 1994, and therefore held the purse strings to fund AIDS prevention. Why didn't they? George W. Bush funded AIDS prevention and research in Africa even more than WJC and Bush said, "If we know we can help, we should."

Nancy forrest, please keep your political inclinations to yourself. You are welcome to your beliefs but this is a trivia site not a place to spout your hatred for this or that president. Regardless of your dislikes , show some respect for the title. They were your elected presidents.

I believe in the Bible. The Bible calls astrologists sooth sayers. The teachings by the Biblical prophets did not speak highly of sooth sayers. That is because the Lord 🙏 is a jealous God and he wants us to listen to His teaching.

Robert Allen, not to interrupt your "consultation" with the creator of the stars (which most educated people call the universe) or your rant against astrology but many could say the same about the slavish devotion to mythology you call Christianity. The First Amendment says we all have the fundamental right of freedom of religion, which includes freedom FROM religion.

I remember Mrs. Reagan and her astrology. I don't use astrology but have read it at times ......for fun. I have had Greek/Turkish coffee grounds read for me. I just have fun. The reader usually has some sort of information to help.
