Officially called the Pandemonious Potted Pork Festival, Spamarama (SPAMARAMA) is normally held on a weekend close to April Fool's Day at Waterloo Park in Austin, TX. Thousands of people have enjoyed coming to one of the wackiest festivals in America.

Featuring various themes concerning Spam, the Pandemonious Potted Pork Festival (SPAMARAMA), is a 1-day event that pays homage to favorite meat that comes in a can and is eaten within the USA. Organized by Keep Austin Weird, a non-profit coalition for local businesses, the yearly tribute to all things Spam-related features a cook-off, using recipes which feature Spam. Also, Spamalymics are known to take place. This is where participants use cans of the meat product for various contests and relays. Plus there naturally will be a Spamburger-eating contest at the festival.

In addition to the above, there is the Spam Jam which features some of the area's finest musical acts. For the kids, a children's circus area is also on-site to help the kiddies have 'tons' of fun. Again, held in Austin's Waterloo Park, Spamarama, the April event, has been one of America's top festivals to attend in the springtime, just a few months before summer.
