The verse "Man that is born of a woman is of a few days, and full of trouble" is from which Bible book?
The verse "Man that is born of a woman is of a few days, and full of trouble" is from the book of Job (14:1) in the Bible. Job is talking about life’s futility and death’s certainty. He says that life is brief and full of trouble. There is nothing any truer than that; trouble is the common denominator of mankind. All of us have seen trouble, sickness, loneliness, disappointment, and death. For Job, life is not fair. He states that no man is perfect, or sinless, so what harm is there in dealing with all men less severely.
The greatest truth ever, “A man that is born of a woman is of a few days and full of trouble.” Job has strong support in Solomon in his proverb which declares, “The goings of a man is of the Lord; how then can a man understand his own ways?”
We see that trouble is just a part of life. Man can't escape it. But with the right attitude, man can make it easier. Men and women shouldn't hold grudges, be bitter to often, hold on to their hot tempers, try to get back at enemies, or do wrong when wronged. Life can be terrible. But most problems are create individuals; they adopt the wrong attitude. When wronged, seek emotional healing, choice to take the high road, choice to forgive other people without pause. Make the best life that can be had.
