Tom Selleck is a well-known American actor and producer. His best known work is definitely the role of a private investigator from Miami in the TV series Magnum. Anyway, Selleck took part in numerous films and TV projects after this role and remained a popular and recognized actor.
Not many people know that Tom served as a soldier in the 160th Infantry Regiment of the California Army National Guard from 1967 to 1973. Tom achieved the rank of Sergeant and received the California National Guard Federal Service Ribbon. Mr. Selleck also received the California State Service Ribbon as well as the California Drill Attendance Ribbon.
Throughout his acting career, Selleck continued his allegiance the California National Guard, acting as volunteer, spokesperson and supporting the military community all the possible ways.
