What 90's cartoon featured two lab rodents whose daily goal was to "take over the world"?

Pinky and The Brain was an animated children show in the 90's, created by Tom Ruegger. This show was the very first animated series to be shown in Dolby Surround. It was also only the forth productions to collaborate with Steven Spielberg, Amblin Entertainment and Warner Brothers Animation. This series was based on 2 genetically modified caged mice in a laboratory separated from the rest of the research animals (mice).

This very odd pair consisted of the extremely free spirited, kind-hearted, yet naive sidekick named Pinky. The other mouse was melancholic and arrogant. thought he was also diabolically manipulative and mischievous. His name Brain. He was set on taking over the world. Brain constructed devious and outrageous plans to take over the world on a daily bases. And on a daily bases these outlandish plans would fail. As they finished all their days, after every disaster. There would be the same short conversation between the two of them about how they are gonna "try" to take the world the following day.
