What are the four layer's of the earth?

The earth is made up of three different layers: the crust, the mantle and the core. This is the outside layer of the earth and is made of solid rock, mostly basalt and granite. Oceanic crust is denser and thinner and mainly composed of basalt. Continental crust is less dense, thicker, and mainly composed of granite. Main mineral found in oceanic floor silica and magnesium thus it is called sima (si for silica, ma for magnesium) crust - the upper most layer of the earth.

Martha Calkins, This question may have received some improvisation. I have the answer with 3 choices as the second option. Even so, this is still a poor question with a basic explanation about the crust only. I agree with Mic Fenst. This question apparently fell through the net yet, all too many of my own fails at review because I've splet a werd or two wrong or put' the? wrong; punctuation in.🤔😠
