What are the three flattest states in the US?

By any measure, Florida takes the prize for the flattest state in the nation because the highest point in the state is only 345 feet above sea level. Then Illinois, North Dakota, Louisiana, Minnesota and Delaware follow. Kansas merely ranks seventh in flatness. The largest number of people — 33 percent — erroneously guessed that Kansas is the flattest state.

I lived in Florida and know first hand, unless you run over an alligator or an orange, on I-95 there is no elevation change.

Oklahoma has the most diverse terrain of any state. 11 different types of terrain. It's fairly flat in the NW, but the rest of the state is definitely not

I guessed wrong also. I went with the notion that Kansas and Nebraska are what is called part of the plains states so I assumed they were the flattest. Who would have thought 😗
