What disease can cause pain worse than childbirth or kidney stones?
A mystery condition that causes extreme pain worse than childbirth or kidney stones among sufferers has baffled doctors and researchers, who can find neither its cause nor its cure. Sufferers of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) wake up one morning to debilitating pain that does not go away. The condition usually affects the arms, legs, hands or feet and sometimes occurs after an injury as minor as a bruise, but often appears without any identified trauma.

This is a very real disease and it should be here. My niece has it and she has constant burning sensation in her body that dont go away. Dont vote it off.

Come one - this is a very strange question - pain is a personal experience and to have a big answer like "cancer" does not make sense to me - a tumor on nerves or in bones can be excrutiating. I would vote this question off the island!

Not to play one up on anyone, as pain is subjective, but many CRPS sufferers choose to risk ketamine induced coma as a treatment for CRPS. A woman with CRPS said her neuropathy pain in her feet was nothing compared to the CRPS in her hands.

crps stands for complex regional pain syndrome and from what I understand is a recurring pain associated with broken limbs such as the legs or arms. I have pain from previous broken arm and wrist, especially during weather change. I think it is something similar to neuropathy. with that said I could not imagine this being the most painful, but that's quizzclub for you.
