Patsy Burchell, Those are fletches, collectively called the fletching, with the arrow maker called the fletcher. I had a family named Fletcher on my route, and I asked once how all the arrow makers are. It so happened he was into bow hunting and started explaining all about arrows to me. His daughter was on a college archery team, but I don't think she had a scholarship.
