IUPAC Is an International Federation of National Adhering Organization that represent chemists in individual Countries.It is a member of the (International Council for Science ISCU).The International headquarters for IUPAC is in Zurich Switzerland.The administrstive office known as the IUPAC Secretariat,is in Research Triangle Park,North Carolina United States.IUPAC's Interdivisional Commitee on Nomenclature. and Symbols. (IUPAC Nomenclature) is the recognized World authority in developing standards for the naming the chemical elements and compounds.

Kathy Mc Carthy Wharton, True -- but if your purpose in doing these quizzes is to test your own knowledge and see how well you can do, you don't want to look up answers ahead of time -- that would defeat the purpose. If, on the other hand, you just like to rack up points, then I guess you'd look up answers right and left.
