There are so many muscles involved in real smiles that people often forget about them when they want to appear happy. We smile to camera effortlessly, we may even show a polite grin but we can't produce a genuine smile on demand. That's why a Duchenne smile is a very accurate reflection of our mood.

The smile was named after the French physician Guillaume Duchenne, who studied the physiology of facial expressions in the nineteenth century.

I went with Duchenne due to the way it is pronounced and reminded me of what I called my Boss one fine (Formerly Employed) Morning, "Douch Bag", made me Grin is more like it, it was worth it! Did you know that in German "Douch" means to Shower and in the US Navy the slang term for a "Shaving Kit" is called a Douch Bag. FYI
