What is a Pastafarian?

Pastafarianism is a new religion which came into mainstream several years ago. Its followers advocate a light-hearted view of religion and worship... the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Pastafarians consider their movement to be a genuine religion, but the rest of society see their church only as a parody religion. As Pastafarians say, anyone can join the movement anytime: all you need to become a Pastafarian is to want to be one.

FSM has become quite well known and increasingly popular over the past nearly 20 years, but is has yet to be awarded tax exempt status by the IRS. Why not? If Scientology can qualify, and it has, surely FSM can.

It is a fake religion. It is as fake as atheists believe all other religions are, hence why the so called god was coined. Personally I am a born again Christian. I remember how flippantly this was used to show their unbelief in religion.
