Rose gold, also known as pink gold and red gold, was extremely popular in Russia at the beginning of the 19th century, and was also known as Russian gold, but then the term went obsolete. Now the alloy is becoming popular and is widely used for beautiful jewelry of all kinds: wedding rings, bracelets, necklaces etc.

I have purchased a lot of rose gold. For my wife and two daughters. It looks best when inlaid on yellow or white gold. I've also had it inlaid on some platinum pieces for my wife. Her wedding thing is platinum and rose gold.
