What is the average length of an adult Giant Panda?

Everybody likes pandas: these creatures are really sweet. They have a funny white snout with black round spots around their eyes. The average height of these animals is about 5 ft while the average weight is known to be about 220 pounds.

These creatures are actually "vegetarians" as they usually eat leaves and bamboo shoots, though sometimes a panda might eat roots, eggs and even small mammals.

Answer should have been a range, not a specific number. Males and females vary in length + individuals vary, too. 3-5 would have been a more accurate answer.

Strange that Racoons also have black around the eyes but are always depicted as bandits with the "eyemask". They do have a pesky habit of robbing and stealing food! But Pandas are so innocent in their behavior, we don't even react that way to their appearance, we associate it differently.
