What is the average Lifespan of a common house-fly?
Houseflies pass through four distinct stages: egg, larva, pupa and adult. The life expectancy of a housefly is generally 15 to 30 days and depends upon temperature and living conditions. Any fly that comes into my house can expect to die IMMEDIATELY. Therefore it has NO life expectancy! By now they should have gotten the word out to fly passed my house if they want to live their 30-day life span

So actually their wild until one get's in your house and if you fan it out of a window or a door is its wild again? I think the question should have been how long should you let a house fly be a house fly.. we all know the ramification of letting one be in the house to long.. ya think.. I'm glad this has been brought to a lot of peoples attention.. :)
