What is the capital of Rhode Island?

Rhode Island is an American state known as the smallest state in size in the country. It also became the last original colony to become a state in 1790. Providence, the city which serves as the state capital, was founded long before the admission of the state to the Union, in 1636. Nowadays about 180 thousand people live there, making it the most populous city of the state.

My mother bought a dictionary and in the back was the states and had it's capital and flower all the fun facts. When sitting at night we would play learning these factsnd I still remember most capitals but I can't remember anything else. I enjoyed learning!
