Lived in Keene New Hampshire for 6 years, as my family and I moved there so I could go back to college so I could finish earning my Bachelor's degree i Writing at Keene State College. Beautiful part of the country, New England. Like living in a post card, especially in the Fall when the leaves turn such beautiful colors. As it happens, Keene is in the lower west corner of New Hampshire, maybe 20 minutes from the border into Vermont, which, in that part of the world, is the Connecticut River. You have to cross the river to get into downtown Brattleboro, or to get into the tiny little town of Bellows Falls. I worked in both cities in Vermont at one time or another in my 6 years living there. Sadly, Keene was also where my 10 year marriage officially ended. 23 years ago on Halloween.
