The world's most valuable sports teams, are ranked annually by the American magazine Forbes, include teams from Association football (soccer), American football, baseball, and basketball.The list is based on the company's valuations of the franchises that are based on enterprise values (equity plus debt) and current stadium deals.

Forbes released its annual list of the top 50 most valuable sports teams for 2019. American franchises dominate the proceedings, making up 34 of the top 50 sports clubs.

The Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) are the most valuable team in sports valued at $5 billion. Also dubbed as “America’s Team,” the Cowboys were bought by current owner Jerry Jones over 30 years ago for $150 million, and is now currently worth $5 billion.

The New York Yankees of the MLB (Major League Baseball) are valued at $4.6 billion and are in second position. The Spanish football club F C Barcelona of the football league "La Liga" are valued at $4.02 billion and are fourth on the list. The Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA (National Basketball Association) is valued at $3.7 billion and are in eighth position.
