What is the name of a Samaritan house of worship?

A synagogue is a Jewish or Samaritan house of worship. Synagogues have a large place for prayer (the main sanctuary) and may also have smaller rooms for study and sometimes a social hall and offices. Some have a separate room for Torah study, called the "house of study".

Synagogues are consecrated spaces used for the purpose of prayer, reading of the Tanakh (the entire Hebrew Bible, including the Torah), study and assembly; however, a synagogue is not necessary for worship. Halakha holds that communal Jewish worship can be carried out wherever ten Jews (a minyan) assemble. Worship can also be carried out alone or with fewer than ten people assembled together.

Samaritans were considered unclean and outcasts from Jewish society of Jesus' time, because they were half-Jewish and half-Gentile, not only ethnically but also religiously. John 4:9 is an example of this, in the conversation of Jesus with the Samaritan woman.

Nancy Anderson, not true, a Samaritan is a branch of Jews. They were looked down upon by Jews because they were not fully Jews biologically. The Good Samaritan story comes from the Bible that points out that the Jewish priest did nothing for the injured, beaten Jew, but the Samaritan took pity on him and cared for him. Which one was really following God?

Samaria was not considered "Jewish" in either the new or old testament. The whole point of the parable of the "good Samaritan" was that a non-Jew was the "true neighbor" of the man beaten and left at the side of the road.

Jesus did not come from Samaritans. The Samaritans arrived in the Land of Israel after the Israelites were exiled to Babylon by Nabbucodonosor (605 BCE). The custom was to replace the exiled population with other nations. The samaritans adopted the God the Israelites believed in as their own because they believed that this is how they should worship in the land of Israel. They also adopted the Torah and followed the explicit rules (but not the oral rules that Jews were following as well). When the Jews returned from exile in 539 BC they did not mix with the Samaritans because of the differences in rituals, but they never actually quarelled but coexisted as separate. The Samaritans live today in the West Bank (an area also called Judeah and Samaria), but there is also a Samaritan commmunity in Tel Aviv.
