What is the official regulation weight of a ice hockey puck?
Official, regulation size ice hockey pucks are 6 oz in weight, 1" thick, and 3" in diameter. Ice hockey pucks are made of vulcanized rubber, which means that the rubber has gone through a chemical process which strengthens and hardens the rubber, making it fit for the abuse it will take in an ice hockey game.
