What kind of animal is Winnie the Pooh?
Winnie-the-Pooh (also known as Pooh Bear or simply Pooh) is a fictional anthropomorphic teddy bear created by English author A. A. Milne and English illustrator E. H. Shepard. Winnie-the-Pooh first appeared by name in a children's story commissioned by London's "Evening News" for Christmas Eve 1925. The character is based on a stuffed toy that Milne had bought for his son Christopher Robin in Harrods department store.
The first collection of stories about the character was the book "Winnie-the-Pooh" (1926), and this was followed by "The House at Pooh Corner" (1928).

Phoebe Figalily, I have not made an insult I stated that even an under five would know what type of animal Winnie The Pooh was. Does the information given state all those facts that you have just thrown at me? No. Does everyone know those facts anyway? Most probably.
I have read Winnie The Pooh Books since I was a child, I read them to my children, and to my grandchildren, now I have two great-grandchildren and as they get older will read these to them. They are classic books, with such wonderful messages contained within the stories, especially the theme of the importance of kindness. So maybe it is time that you re-read them and tried to work on the kindness bit.
