What production company first created "The Flintstones"?

Founded by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1957, Hanna-Barbera Productions produced a variety of animated series throughout its history.

"The Yogi Bear Show," "Wally Gator," "Touché Turtle and Dum Dum," "Lippy the Lion & Hardy Har Har," "Huckleberry Hound," "The Yogi Bear Show," "Top Cat," "The Jetsons," "Scooby-Doo," "The Smurfs," and "The Flintstones," just to name a few, were made by Hanna-Barbera, which was eventually absorbed into Warner Bros. Animation in 2001.

Hanna and Barbera "discovered" the use of "limited animation" to the production of their films. The system had been employed in short advertising films, but they correctly thought that it could be applied to their cartoons. >A film could be completed in a couple of weeks, against the half year that normally took the production of animated cartoons "Disney" style.
