What superhero grew up on the planet Tamaran?
Starfire's given name is Koriand'r. She is a princess of the fictional planet Tamaran. Actually, she was in line to rule the planet but her older sister (Komand'r, also known as Blackfire) developed a bitter rivalry with her.
Starfire was betrayed by her entire family, as they gave her up as a "peace offering" to the alien invaders of Tamaran. Fortunately, the girl managed to escape her captors and fled to Earth.
