What system of government does the United States of America operate?

The government of the USA is federal government of the republic of fifty states, containing one capital district and several other territories, which constitute the United States.

Federal government is a set of three main branches: legislative, executive and judicial. The powers of branches, according to the Constitution of the United Stated, are assigned to the President, the Congress and the federal courts. Acts of the US Congress restrict and control the powers of the branches.

The full official name of the republic is "United States of America". It's the only name appearing on money, treaties and all the legal cases it takes part in.

There are several federal republics in the today's world, including the Russian Federation, Germany, Brazil, Austria and others. The types of their subdivision are different: federal subjects, provinces, states etc.

The USA might have originally been a democratic federalist government, but it certainly is an oligarchy now, run by an elite few. Too many politicians introduce bills and vote against their constituents' wishes. They can't be voted out because they have gerrymandered their districts to the extreme and because the people of that district vote a straight party regardless of the candidate. These politicians are corporate whores and don't care about this country's citizens, air, water, land or anything except the corporate profits of their donors. It's a damn shame. Anyone disputing this had better get enlightened. That's why they are getting away with it. The dumbing of America is all around.

As for Hillary, she is the one who drew up what basically became the Affordable Care Act when Bill was president, or have you conveniently forgotten how she tirelessly, and UNSELFISHLY worked for working class folks?
