What was Calamity Jane's birth name?
Martha Jane Canary or Cannary (May 1, 1852 – August 1, 1903), better known as Calamity Jane, was an American frontiers woman and professional scout known for her claim of being an acquaintance of Wild Bill Hickok and fighting Indians. She is said to have also exhibited kindness and compassion, especially to the sick and needy. This contrast helped make her a noted frontier figure.

Those of "YOU" who continually complain about Authors and banning them and NOW we get a brand new Author and the complaining doesn't seem to end! Even on the spelling!! She got her name Calamity Jane because she was the U.S.Cavalry scout that first discovered the massacre of Custer and the 7th. Cavalry at the Little Big Horn.
