What was known as KV62?
In 1922 it was thought that all the treasures at the sites in Egypt's Valley of the Kings ("KV") had been uncovered. But the British Egyptologist Howard Carter hired a crew to excavate the site known just as KV62. They found a downward corridor where a robbers' tunnel had been made and, at the end of the tunnel, was a sealed door that had been breached and re-sealed in antiquity.
