What was Nazi Germany also known as?

Nazi Germany, or the Third Reich, was a dictatorship lasting from 1933 until 1945. During 1939 until 1945, Germany was at war with the allies, in World War II. This war involved the allies (Great Britian & All its territories, USA, France and later the Soviet Union) fighting against the Axis Powers (Nazi Germany, Italy and Japan). Led by Dictator Adolf Hitler, the Third Reich built many concentration camps and cross-country roads. Nazis excecuted Jews, homosexuals, and other groups in their camps.

The term "Third Reich" ("Third Empire" in German) succeeds the Holy Roman Empire (800 - 1806) - you could say "First Empire" - and the German Empire (1871 - 1918) - you could say "Second Empire". Thus, the Third Reich implies on the Nazi-German Empire (1933 - 1945).
