The Millennium Stadium, known since 2016 as the Principality Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is the national stadium of Wales. This stadium was opened in June 1999. Located in Cardiff, it is the home of the Wales national rugby union team and has also held Wales national football team games.

On 8 September 2015, it was announced that the Millennium Stadium would be renamed Principality Stadium as the result of a 10-year naming rights deal with the Principality Building Society. On 22 January 2016, the Millennium Stadium was officially renamed as the Principality Stadium. The change of name also meant a change of logo for the Millennium Stadium.

Built to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup, the Principality Stadium (formerly the Millennium Stadium) is the home of Welsh rugby and has also hosted Welsh international football matches, the FA Cup final, Olympic football matches, and several speedway events.
