Arnold Ziffel, together with his human colleagues, became one of the most beloved characters of the popular TV show Green Acres. Arnie was played by a series of different pigs, and most of them were ladies, but the original pig was a he-pig named Arnold. Arnold and the following pigs had to do many stunts and demonstrate their outstanding acting skills and intelligence.

Green Acres ran from 1965 to 1971 on CBS and was a sitcom about a small rural community. Arnold Ziffel was the family pet of Fred and Doris Ziffel. The series was set in a small town called Hooterville. Arnold was considered to be the son that Barbara and Hank had never had and was treated as such, which, of course, gave birth to numerous funny situations.
