The movie ‘Moose’ (2015) takes place in the small fictional town of Gangrene Gulch, Alaska, United States. The plot involves a new park ranger named Zack de Pollo who arrives at his post just in time to investigate a string of suspicious deaths. Zack teams up with Mike, the veteran ranger and Samatha, a beautiful and determined young coroner’s assistant to solve the murders. The threesome quickly find themselves hoof-deep in supernatural chaos.

The residents of this rural Alaskan town must turn to the three to save them from an ancient, mythological half-man, half-moose.

As the movie progresses, Zack learns that the town is populated with all sorts of odd members and residents, including a narcoleptic dispatcher, two slightly inbred tow truck ambulance drivers, a group of hippies, several puppets, a mountain pirate and a homicidal mooseetaur.

The movie ‘Moose’ is unique in that it was not just a movie made by a select group of people- it was a movie made by the community! Literally, hundreds of individuals and many businesses came together and volunteered their time, property, and/or financial resources to help film and produce the movie.

It is a 1 hour 58 minute hilarious film directed by G. Logan Dellinger, who is known for his previous film ‘Cloak and Dagger’ (2011). The script was written by Chad Carpenter (born 1968) an American cartoonist and Darin Carpenter, a writer.
