When did the Boston Tea Party take place?
The Boston Tea Party was a protest carried out by the Sons of Liberty in Boston on the 16th of December, 1773. In defiance of the Tea Act of May 10, 1773, the entire shipment of Indian tea was destroyed by a group of people, who boarded the ships and threw all the boxes of tea into the water.
It is an interesting thing that some of the demonstrators were disguised as Native Americans.
Kingdom of Great Britain reacted immediately and harshly, thus, turning an episode of American history into an iconic event of the American Revolution.

Peter Bergman, now you're guessing. The American Revolution started in 1765, fighting broke out in 1775. If you're going by the political unrest that was the actual beginning of the Revolution, there is only one date listed that predates the beginning, and that's not the correct answer. If you're going by the date of the actual fighting breaking out, there are two dates listed that predate that event and obviously only one is correct.
