Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee or Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is a classification of coffee grown in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. The best lots of Blue Mountain coffee are noted for their mild flavour and lack of bitterness. Over the past few decades, this coffee has developed a reputation that has made it one of the most expensive and sought-after coffees in the world. Over 80% of all Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is exported to Japan.

Chris Brown, You are wrong. It is produced in Jamaica and is the most sought after and expensive coffees in the world. I know because I was born in Jamaica and was just there a month ago on vacation.

Chris Brown, the premium Blue Mountain coffee grows in Jamaica. There is a much lesser-known coffee in New Zealand also called by this name, but when people refer to Blue Mountain coffee they are referring to Jamaican coffee which is known the world over.

I’m Jamaican and grew up with this coffee. Love it!! Hawaiian Kona coffee is kinda similar to it.

Wyla Reedy, it’s not cheap. You can find Blue Mountain blends in many super markets. Check Amazon and some other grocers like Fresh Market. 1lb can cost $40-$70.

Coffee from Puerto Rico is eally good and smooth as well. Very hard to find on the mainland.

Absolutely GREAT coffee!! The few times that I have tried it were wonderful. It will make a coffee drinker out of anyone.

Our Jamaica Blue coffee cafes in Australia gave me the clue. Their coffee is not bitter, one of my favourites.

Chris Braid, Last time I bought it, it was &40.00 a pound. Next pound was a gift. That was some years ago. It is terrific coffee, but not worth the money. I have no idea what the cost might be now.
