Where is President Obama's father from?

President Obama is the son of a white American mother and a black Kenyan father who met at the University of Hawaii in 1960. The president last saw his father when he was 10, when Obama Sr. made a brief visit to Hawaii from Kenya, where he moved when the future president was just a toddler.Obama was raised by his grandparents and single mother.

He is a good an Honorable President! You have no idea what he received in his briefing before taking on the role of President of the United States. None of us are aware of what he had to deal with and the things he promised because of National Security he may not have been able to do them. Majority of this country has disrespected this man, truly based on the color of his skin. Not by the content of the work he is trying to do with his hands tied. I wish him well as I have other Presidents and I have never disrespected any of my Commander In Chief!

Here we go again! Thanks Joey, Debi, Rusty, Samuel, and Yolanda for your positive statements. We are better off than we were 6 years ago. I guess Teresa, Donna and others all had a secure job at good pay for the last 10 years, if so you are lucky. The jobless rate is very low, (because economy is better). stock market at an all time high (because the economy is better), get it right people, if you have to blame someone, aim at the Congress! Our president has, under the circumstances, done a great job and we should be thanking him.
